Here's a video on apologetics for kids in a "Schoolhouse Rock" format. It's a good discussion starter for older kids on the validity that Jesus truly was God's Son.

While I do appreciate the quality and work put into this cartoon, I can't help but think something is missing. These facts are important, but the assumption is that if you can simply believe the facts then relationship will follow. I have found that most people outside of a relationship with Christ that I run into and speak with respond with just the opposite. They want the relationship first... realtionship with me and subsequently, relationship with God. Then they worry about "the truth." The culture in which we live isn't interested in truth first. While we can look at that and call it a problem, I choose to look at it and see it as an opportunity to take other aspects of who God is (love, relationship, community, justice) and show people that. They are more likely to be won over by an apologetics of love over an apologetics of facts and figures.
It's not that facts and figures are wrong or unnecessary. They are. But people are looking for connection first and facts later.
I'd be interested to hear what other people think!
